Let me start off by telling you a little bit about my life. I was born and raised in San Jose, CA where I still currently reside. Although I have been here for most of my life, I have traveled to many places and have had many addresses along the way. I had the pleasure of meeting my husband (James) by an accidental encounter through a mutual acquaintance. Today we have been married for 14 strong years and are still counting. We also have 4 beautiful children (Jacob – 27 years old, Andrea – 23 years old, Arianna – 17 years old, and Alex – 11 years old) whom we love dearly and whose lives are impacted by what we are going through as a family.  And that is CANCER!

Rather than keep a personal journal, I decided to blog publicly.  Here is what I hope to accomplish. 

• Be an advocate and educate (as much as I can) about this horrific disease.
• Use this as a platform to share our story.
• Provide updates to our family & friends.
